Well, I finally pulled the trigger and purchased plane tickets. I am sort of hyperventilating at the moment-- but I got an awesome fare.
$1,578.27 on KLM- Dutch Airlines, which is partnered with NWA.
I leave June 8th at 4:15pm and return July 26th at 11:15am.

Wow- how exciting!! When you are there, give a special hug and kiss to the sisters Kidist and Yordanos. I don't know if it was just an off day for Kidist, but she looked so sad- she really captured our hearts. I am told that she is not matched with a family yet.
And thanks so much for the offer about helping me to help Bezuaheyu. Unfortunately, he lives in Debre Zeyit, which is quite far from Addis, so I doubt it would work. I think I may just email BCI and see if I can send them money to his family, as much as I really don't want to contact them anymore! I just worry about that as I know they keep such a huge amount of it, and give very little to where they say they do... it is so frustrating...
I definitely am frustrated with the trip, but the country itself is amazing... and the AHOPE and World Vision parts fo the trip (when we were away from the organization we went with) was amazing. I don't regret going at all. Any idea if AHOPE has a brochue or something they could mail me, or is it all online? Meron doesn't have a computer, but I would love to be able to give her some info about helping Ethiopia on paper... hmm... maybe I will email them and see if they have anything they could send...
